TOP 10 ADVERTS FOR THIS MONTH
This past month witnessed the debut of many
10 –
This AD is educative and makes you want to wash your hands. Nice stuff.
09 – ALWAYS SANITRY PAD (good to go)
This AD landed this spot mostly because of the choreography. The AD as a whole was well done and finished well.
08 –
The story line was well played out and we enjoy watching this elderly couple have differences on who they will prefare to be on their family and friends list.
07 –
The fact that they were trying to sell us voice clearity with a guy in the studio doing his thing the Nigerian way is a plus.
06 – PANADOL EXTRA (truck driver)
We love the song and we sing along always. We love the comic relief it brings with it and we laugh each time we watch it. We love this AD and the fact that its being on air for quit a while doesn’t really bother us because we are not yet tired of it.
05 – ETISALAT (N10000 FREE CREDIT)
This AD is not fantastic but people just love it since it started to air recently.
04 – TOP TEA (
This AD really really make sense and is sure to sell the product. The concept is just unique. You know, I just might ask for toptea if I visit
03 – INDOMIE ( mama do good)
What more can we say about this one? Guess children who are happy because they just had indomie makes us happy.
02 – OVALTINE (walking on sunshine)
‘ am walking on sunshine oh oh…..’ bringing back that Canadian hit song from the 80s is a smart move.
01 – VICKS (speak up
The first impression when you watch this AD for the first time is ‘aaawwwwwww.’ No long story. No unnecessary plots.

ReplyDeleteThe compilation is quite good as the advert were carefully chosen. The Dettol advert is educative, it tells you that your hands are filled with germs almost every time. the choreography behind Always Sanitary Pad's advert is nice. The song of Tom Tom sweet and the story behind Panadol extra's advert is efficient. Children can't stop singing the Indomie song and the ovaltin song.

Indomie has always be exceptional in any advert they come up with. thanks to the copywriter and their creative team . But in the case of "mama do good", I wasn't pleased. The advert wasn't all that balanced. My reason for saying this is because of the song and the character used(children). The song was in pidgin language and the children used were all crème and proper children, who am vey sure cant speak the language very well less they sing it. Comparing this advert with "make a world a better place". "Make a world a better place" was far better than it because it was balanced. The children used and the song sang was corresponding. The "mama do good" advert would have been a little bit perfect if they had mixed the sets of children used. example: rural and urban children. The balancing of an advert depends on the copywriter and the creative team. all these has to do with the strategies used in the creating an advert.

I believe Cowbell's Cowbellocracy's "Ogbonge milk e don come back again!! Oyoyoyoyoyo" could have been included. It has that Daddy Showkey dance feel in it. It's a really good, awesome song...
